Each gram of cream contains:
Ketoconzole 10mg
Clobetasol Propionate 0.25mg
Neomycin Sulphate 5000 I.U.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS
The active ingredients of Romcin cream are Ketoconazole, Clobetasol and Neomycin.
Ketoconazole is an imidazole anti fungi agent with a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity. Romcin cream has potent antimycotic actions against dermatophytes, its activity is against the following:
- Candida Albicans
- Coccidiodes immitis
- Blastomyces dermatitidis
- Microsporum Canis
Clobetasol is a corticosteroid used topically for its glucocorticoid activity in the treatment of various skin disorders.
Neomycin is known to be effective against gram-positive cocci and gram negative bacilli. The synergies obtained in the composition of the compound result in the cream being highly effective against fungi, bacteria, inflammation and pruritus.

INDICATIONS
Romcin cream is indicated for the topical treatment of Fungal infections of the skin including:
- Tinea Manus
- Tinea Pedis
- Tinea Corporis
- Tinea Cruris
- Tinea Versicolor
- Dermatitis
- Allergic reactions such as Eczema
- Pruritus

DOSAGE AND MODE OF ADMINISTRATION
Apply to the affected area once a day depending on the severity of the infection. The cream may be applied to the affected area two times daily when necessary.
Generally, the duration of application depends on the type of infecting organism.
Treat as below for the following:
- Tinea Corporis - 2 Weeks
- Tinea Cruris - 2 Weeks
- Tinea Pedis - 4 Weeks
- Tinea Manus - 4 Weeks
- Infections normally resistant to antifungal agents - 4-6 Weeks

SIDE EFFECTS
Romcin cream is a topical antifungal cream that is well tolerated and has little or no side effects when used properly. On occasion, irritation or a burning sensation may occur during treatment.
However, it is unnecessary to discontinue treatment with Romcin cream. In severe or extreme cases you may contact the physician.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Romcin Cream is contra-indicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its active ingredients.
Romcin is for topical use only and cannot be use for internal or ophthalmic use. Special precautions must be observed during used on pregnant women and children.

PRECAUTIONS
Clinical studies of transcutaneous absorption conducted on animals and humans have proved that the reabsorption rate of Ketoconazole cream is negligible as such Romcin cream can be used in pregnancy under supervision of a medical doctor.
Application to the face or on large areas for longer periods of time than recommended in leaflet should be under a medical doctor's supervision.
